over the weekend we went on a little family adventure to Dillon Falls, one of our favorite hiking spots along the Deschutes River. it’s just minutes outside of Bend and open year round when most other hikes are closed due to snow. it’s an easy hike and has incredibly rewarding views.
one of the most useful things in my opinion when hiking with a new baby is the Ergobaby carrier. we used one with Wolf from day one up until out grew it and wanted to run along side us on the hike. Ergobaby makes a handy infant insert to keep even the tiniest baby snug. it offers head and neck support for wobbly newborns and a pillow at the base of the insert to make sure they are ergonomically seated. and, it works with every carrier so you’ll never need anything different. my newest carrier is the Bundle of Joy package, which includes the carrier and insert – and makes a perfect gift for any expecting mama.
